About me

I was born and raised in Muscatine, Iowa, a small town on the Iowa/Illinois border about 45 minutes east of Iowa City. My dad, Shane, step-mom, Shawna, mom, Trina, and step-dad, Matt live in Muscatine and are huge supporters of my journey in anything that I do. Between my mom and my dad I have four siblings: Mati and Dane live and work in Muscatine, Cael attends Muscatine High School, and Rylie plays softball at the University of Iowa.

My wife, Sarah, also grew up in Muscatine (high school sweethearts) and we got married in Estes Park, CO on August 7, 2023. She is a pharmacist and works as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

In our spare time, Sarah and I enjoy watching Hawkeye and Buffalo sports, taking our Goldendoodle, Nile, to the dog park, hiking, skiing, traveling, and visiting new breweries.
